Sama Kubba is an Iraqi-American Harvard student studying Government with a special focus on Middle Eastern politics. In addition to growing up in a Muslim household, she has also studied Islamic ideology in the context of religious extremism at Harvard. She has experience working on counterterrorism for the Government of Afghanistan on the Taliban Peace Deal prospects and on a Department of Justice funded study focused on deradicalization and rehabilitation. Sama is currently researching with ICSVE the evolution of digital radicalization with a focus on gendered narratives and looking at issues of ISIS repatriations in Iraq.
