Claire Wooster is a Junior Research Fellow at ICSVE. She graduated with honors from George Mason University with a double major in Psychology and Criminology, and a concentration in Homeland Security. Before joining ICSVE, Claire worked as a research assistant in labs dedicated to understanding criminogenic thinking and reducing recidivism. In this role, she conducted investigations on and interviews with criminal offenders. This deepened her interest in understanding criminal motivations, eventually leading to a sharper focus in motivations for violent extremism. At ICSVE, Claire contributes to viewer-response analysis of the Breaking the ISIS Brand Counter-Narrative Project videos.
