Chrystal Hoelscher is a Research Fellow with the International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism working on researching homegrown terrorism, ISIS female recruits, and individual radicalization within the United States. Mrs. Hoelscher currently holds a graduate certificate in Homeland Security from Texas A&M University and is pursuing her Masters of Science in Homeland Security at Angelo State University. She is currently a student editor, reviewer and contributor for the Journal of Homeland and National Security Perspectives. Mrs. Hoelscher comes to ICSVE with experience supporting the Safety & Mission Assurance Contract for NASA’s Johnson Space Center as a Senior Project Analyst. She has received NASA’s Exceptional Public Service Medal for work performed during an investigation and subsequent publication of the Columbia Crew Survival Investigation Report.
